Geographical Situation

The Valençay is a wine of the Berry region like its near neighbours Reuilly, Quinçy and Mennetou-Salon.

Characteristics

 - Grape Pinot noir and Côt
 - 3 – 4 months maturing in casks
 - Production 40 – 50 hectolitres / hectare
 - Bottling 10 months after harvesting

Taste

The Valençay red is light and glossy in colour. Warm, soft and rich in the mouth, it combines hints of cherry and vanilla. You will be entranced by its tenderness.

 - Storage : 3 – 5 years
 - A perfect accompaniment to :
                                    - White meats
                                    - Steaks
